Shipping Update!

Hey everyone!
Sorry for not posting more updates, I was waiting for big news first.
So the bags and wallets are finally preparing to ship!!
They will take about a month to arrive, unfortunately. 😞
I was waiting to tell y'all that they were getting ready to ship because of my bag manufacturer.
Basically, they originally estimated $11,000 for shipping for 2600 bags.
I sent them an email confirming that the cost would be about the same. I expected a little inflation, so I was expecting $11,000 for the 2250 bags I ordered.
They confirmed that, yes, the cost would be about the same.
Then they hit me with the cost being $15,000.
I...wasn't okay with that, obviously. I asked if there was any cheaper option as they just told me the cost would be the same. They said it was more expensive because they didn't squish the bags at all while boxing them up. I was so confused because literally the previous email they confirmed the cost would be the same...
Then, I asked if they could squish the crossbody bags a bit, because that's how my sample came and it's perfectly fine. They said it would take 30 additional days to do that??? Even though they just boxed them in a week???
They promised to find me a cheaper option.
Then they came back with $13,000.
I was still putting my foot down because it was still more than I budgeted for, it's the slowest shipping option, and again, they said it would cost the same as the previous quote.
They came back saying that's the cheapest option and now they've changed their story to "we can't repack the bags" and if I wait to pay them, it'll go up to $15,200 in the beginning of October.
Mind you, I didn't place a small order with them. Here's a little bts, but my order with them, just for the crossbody bags and backpacks, was $45,000.
So I kind of feel like they think a few thousand is nothing to me, but in reality my budget is very strict because it's gonna cost a lot to ship y'all's orders out. (As you probably know from having to pay for shipping 😂)
They basically are holding my bags and know that I need them quickly, so they know I have no option but to overpay.
I kind of feel like a deflated balloon at this point.
I'll figure it out, though.
Y'all will be getting your bags, no worries, and at least the bags are preparing to ship.
I just wanted to share with y'all why I haven't updated sooner- there's a lot going on bts.
Anyway, I hope y'all are doing well. I hope you're still excited for everything! I'm packaging up all of the earrings, mirrors, and phone grips so I can prep small boxes to go out.
I'll let y'all know when small orders begin to ship!

Hi everyone!
Thank you all for your patience throughout this process.
I've been so busy trying to prep the smaller orders for when everything arrives, so I haven't posted in a little while. Sorry!!
So bad news...
The smaller orders' shipping has been delayed a little bit. I originally wanted to send them out end of September, but now I'm thinking early October.
The reason is I received the earrings and a lot of them are flawed and some arrived broken.
So I have to send a bunch back to the company to be fixed. :(
Some jump rings are even missing so I have to fix those myself.
I totally didn't expect that to happen. I thought the earrings and keychains would be the one thing I didn't have to really worry about quality checking. Welp...
So that's why they're delayed. I'm so sorry about this. I just wouldn't feel right about sending out products that weren't the quality that I promised. I hope y'all understand.
So for some good news...
I drew some designs for postcards that will be included in every package!
Depending on which variant you ordered, you'll get either the dark version or the pastel version (or both if you ordered a mix)!
Here they are:
I hope those can make up a little bit for all of the delays.

Hi everyone!
So sorry for not posting. I've been super busy trying to organize everything so I can start shipping small orders out!
I received the earrings and keychains and unfortunately in transit a lot of them broke. 😭
So shipping for those may be pushed back to the end of September, but I should have enough for the small orders. Vinca are remaking a bunch for me, so I'll have more later for the larger orders. I'll let y'all know if there are any further delays.
Otherwise I'm preparing to ship small orders placed through the Kickstarter!!
So if you backed the project by purchasing any of the following, your order will be shipped in the next couple of weeks:
- pins
- pocket mirrors
- phone grips
- earrings
- keychains
- sticker packs
If you ordered any of those and need to change your shipping address, please send me an email!
Once I ship your item, I can't change the destination, so please double check your shipping addresses through the Backerkit survey and let me know if you need it updated.

Delays Update ♡

Hi everyone!
Hope you're all doing well~
So I wanted to let you know that I plan on shipping the smaller items early to mid September. The ship date for those have been slightly pushed back because I'm still waiting on some things to arrive, including some packaging and boxes. The bags and wallets will ship later, exact time frame tbd. I think I'm going to spend the extra money (if I can) to upgrade the shipping for the bags and wallets so I can get them out to you ASAP. I can't say for sure that I'll be able to (as the cheapest 30 day shipping is 10k just for the bags 😭), but that's my plan for now.
I'm sorry for the delays and disappointment. I know y'all were expecting everything by a certain time, and I was hoping to get everything out in August, too.
Also, please be patient with me as I start shipping everything out. I injured my hand reaaally bad from overuse and overextending myself, so even packing orders irritates it right now. I think quality checking pins also irritated it, so apologies if I am slow at getting the smaller orders out. Hopefully I can handle it and my hand gets a little better in a couple of weeks.
Btw if y'all have any advice for ulnar nerve pain and pinky joint pain, let me know!

Hopefully I'll have some cute pics to show y'all next week of some of the pins!! Also the earrings and keychains are shipping to me next week! I ordered special backing cards for them, too. So it's not all bad news~

Production Delay Update

Hi everyone~
I have some bad news today.
The production has been delayed at least a month for the bags and wallets.
I'm so sorry for this. I know y'all have been waiting what feels like forever for your items...
I asked the manufacturer if I could split shipments and have some of the products sent now and some later, and basically they said no. They said they had issues sourcing the pink material which caused the delay. I wish they told me about that sooner, but it is what it is.
My plan right now is to organize the pledges by what I will have at the end of August and shipping out those on time. Those include orders of just the mirrors, pins, stickers, and phone grips. It may also include the keychains and earrings, I'll let y'all know once I hear back about their progress.
Waiting is the worst part of this process, but hopefully y'all will understand. 💗
I'll update again soon, and hopefully have some better news then.
