Wallet Update

Hi there.
So the wallets are almost done!
My rep told me they're cleaning them and quality checking them, and that I'll be able to work out shipping with them in the next week.
Here's a pic:
Once I arrange shipping with them, they will pack them up and send them to me.
They will ship by sea and that will take a month alone, so please be patient with that.
I simply cannot afford to have them shipped by air.
I will post again once I receive them, giving y'all a heads up that I'm beginning to ship orders and at that time I will be calling for final address updates, so y'all will have the chance to update your address with me then.
I know I haven't been updating as often as some would like, and that's honestly because I've been swamped with witch hat work, grief from *another* one of my cats passing (and another one that may have to be put down in the next week which makes 3 deaths in 2 months), and it's frankly stressful to post updates.
Every time I post an update, I get angry folks emailing me.
I understand better than anyone how long and annoying the wallet process has been.
Please understand I'm just a human doing their best.
Just please be nice. For those of you who go out of their way to be supportive, know that you keep me going and help me push through. Y'all are amazing and definitely outweigh the negativity. Sometimes it's just hard to know that this project has made people think poorly of me and my business, as this has been a dream of mine and I'm trying really hard to accommodate everyone.
Again, I truly understand y'all who are frustrated, I really do. I've been so frustrated along this process as well, so I get it.
I guess I'm just trying to remind y'all that I also cannot wait for this to be over and finished. I'll finally be free to create new things for the first time in 2 years!
Anyway, I hope y'all understand where I'm coming from.
The end is near, so don't give up yet! The project is allllmost done. I hope you're all still excited if you've been patiently waiting on your items. ❤️

informal quick update

hi friends,
writing this update from my phone informally just to let yall know theres no news yet.
i know you want more updates, and i planned on updating sooner, but my cat that had cancer took a turn for the worse and passed earlier today.
im just posting a quick update to reassure those who want to know whats up.
everythings still progressing.
i had to send a final payment to the manufacturer and that gave me a headache with a hold up, but it should be fixed now. i guess thats the only real news since last time.
ill be back hopefully with more to update yall on next month, or sooner.

Small Update

Hi friends!
Popping in quickly to update y'all since it's been a little while.
I just wanted to preface this update with a timeline announcement. A lot of folks have been assuming the timeline for the wallets, and I want to let you know that I don't have a definite date that the wallets will be done/shipped/etc. The shipping from my manufacturer to me alone will take 1 month, so once we get to that point, I'll let you know. Please, please continue to be patient as my manufacturer works on the wallets.
So for the update - we ran into a snag with the printing. So we are fixing that. They're sending me some pieces of faux leather with the new printing on it to confirm before continuing with the wallets.
The issue is the previous printing was cracking in areas on the wallets, which obviously is not acceptable, so I wanted to make sure I could see it in person and test the new printing for myself.
I appreciate your patience as I make sure everything is perfect by getting additional samples along the way, which can cause a delay. I just want to make sure the quality is perfect and will hold up for more than a few weeks.

Last announcement:
If you have asked for your items to be shipped separately AFTER 1/18, please be aware that I may not be able to ship your items separately before the new wallets are complete.
I will try my absolute best to get your other items shipped first, but I'm at a point where I have to focus all of my time on my second round of witch hats so I can complete them and sell them to help pay for the shipping of the wallets to me. If I keep putting off the witch hats, I won't be able to pay to have the wallets shipped from my manufacturer to me... 😅
Especially when the post office "loses" another $150 package to one of y'all, but don't get me started.
I hope y'all understand.
You all have been so patient and understanding this whole time, and I truly appreciate it. I'm extremely stressed, burnt out, and just tired, but we are sooo close to closing this chapter, so I'm pushing through to finish this ASAP.
Please email me if you need anything, and I will respond if I see it. If I do not respond, it's because I didn't see your message or email, so please keep bothering me because my stressed brain sometimes forgets to search my email for messages sent to my junk folder.

Overdue Update

Hi friends!
Happy 2023!
Sorry I haven't been around in a couple of months. After Halloween I got sick on and off, so I took a break from everything. Or, rather, my body forced me to take a break. Long story short I got a stomach thing, then bird flu, then injured myself from coughing with bird flu so it hurt to move.
I'm still not 100%, but I'm getting back to normal regardless.
So. The update.
Some of you may know, but covid is having a huge resurgence in China, which has caused the purse factory to shut down temporarily once already. The representative I speak to also got covid, so between those two things, there have been delays. I expect the covid issue to continue to hinder our progress with the wallets, so please be patient, as I can't control that. :(
We also ran into a couple of issues right at the start of manufacturing, but those are getting sorted out. I ordered 2 new samples just to triple check everything is okay, so mass production has paused until I approve those new samples.
It may seem like more bad news, but actually, we are moving forward in the process, it's just taking extra time because of the pandemic. *sigh*
I don't have any time estimates as everything is rather unpredictable at the moment and I don't want to guarantee anything only to experience additional delays.
I hope y'all understand and are still excited for everything.
If you'd like your other items shipped separately from the wallet, I can still do that.

Speaking of emails, since I was sick for a long time, I know I missed emails as I wasn't able to check it often.

Okay, I think that's it? Kinda a long update for not much info, but alas, that's how it is with covid still being a threat.
Hopefully we will get more progress in before the Chinese New Year holiday happens so we can get ahead of the big break they take.

Hi everyone!
So I'm finally able to update.
I got super sick last week when I planned to update y'all, so sorry for the delay.
Behind the scenes, the process was moving along even though I wasn't updating.
Yes, that means the wallets are in the process of being remade- officially.
I don't have an estimated delivery date for them, and I'm not going to pressure them. Frankly I want them to take their time and make sure they're the quality they promised.
But I will let you know if they tell me any estimated arrival dates.
That's really all there is to this update!
