Hi everyone!
Sorry for not updating in a little bit.
So good news is all of the orders without wallets have been shipped! 🎉
I have sent the wallet samples to my purse manufacturer, so they will begin making their samples soon!
I'm still waiting on finances to work out, so fingers crossed that can be figured out soon.
So things are moving~
Again, I would like to apologize to y'all who are waiting on the wallets.
I can't control the quality issues with the last batch, but I can control what I decide to ship to y'all. The wallets were too poor quality to ship to y'all, and I'm very sorry about that. But please know I'm doing everything possible to make it right, even though it's taking more time and money than I ever thought it would.
I truly appreciate your patience and support, and please remember I am a person and I'm doing my best. Trust me, I don't want to hold on to all of the merchandise forever- I'm paying monthly for a giant storage unit, lol. So I'm definitely not trying to keep your products from you, I promise!
Anyway, I'm going to make the list of folks who'd like their items shipped separately from their wallets soon- after the samples are made and everything looks good. So please allow some time for that~
If you'd rather have your wallet swapped out for other items from the Kickstarter worth $30, I will also ask for y'all to email me in the next update.
I'm making witch hats to help raise money for the wallets and to help ship out the rest of the packages (fees for storage, samples, etc are eating away at those funds I had set aside, too...). So please be a little more patient as I continue working hard to send out all of the rest of the packages. 🤞
TLDR: I'm working on raising funds to ship out packages w/o wallets and packages that replace the wallets, so I am making witch hats to sell while waiting on the wallet samples to be made and finances to be confirmed for the new wallet order.
I also made a Kofi because some of y'all have been asking.
Please please do not feel pressured to donate anything- y'all don't owe me anything else.

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to pop in and say that I am still working on getting out the orders without wallets. So if you haven't received yours yet, it's still on the way.
I am asking for y'all to be extra patient right now because I'm dealing with severe debilitating anxiety at the moment. I can't eat, so getting even minimal stuff done is really hard. I'm going to try to distract myself by continuing to work on getting packages out. But if there are any delays, please be patient.
I know I'm asking a lot.
Truth is that I just found out that the man who assaulted me and my mom is being released from prison early, and in a couple weeks. So I'm having a really hard time dealing with that.
I'm sorry this is kind of another downer update, but I figured I would let you know that orders are still on the way.
I'm sorry about all of this.

Hi everyone!
So I really wanted to come back with a positive update and give y'all a little breather after some major setbacks, but...
That just doesn't seem to be how my life works right now.
I ran into maybe the biggest bump so far last week.
My bank finally got back to me after a month and said that I most likely will not be refunded for the defective wallets.
Why? That's a good question that I don't really have an answer for.
They gave a lot of excuses like "we have certain policies", "it's a large amount", and "you paid through a third-party system".
They said they literally don't even take into account the quality issues.
Y'all, I'm gonna be honest. I didn't see this coming.
I have so much evidence to show what happened, but it doesn't seem to matter. My bank is just going to basically ask Alibaba to refund me, and if they won't (and they definitely won't), then I won't get a refund.
This hit me so hard last week I...was not okay.
But, I have to keep going.
I am going to finish this project and make my dream wallets no matter what. I'm going to fulfill all of the orders and deliver the quality I promised y'all.
So since I basically burned $13,000 on a bad manufacturer, that means I would need about $23,000 now to reorder the new wallets.
My first course of action is to switch to another bank, lol. One that actually has a branch in my city so I can do only wire transfers and not pay through a third party site.
Then I'm going to apply for a small business/artist loan.
I have no idea if I will get one, but if I'm able to, that would allow me to start the manufacturing for the new wallets quickly. Then while they're being manufactured I can sell b-grade items from the Kickstarter, make witch hats, and whatever else I can come up with to help pay off the loan as quickly as possible.
I'm sorry if this is a lot for y'all to take in. Don't worry about being responsible for my stress or anything- I took this project on and it's completely my responsibility. I want to make cute wallets. I want to have them hold up over time. The wallets were a huge thing for me because I didn't see many other artists offering cute trifold wallets. I wanted to make something truly unique, and they did so much better than I ever anticipated!
So all of this is completely my choice. If you ordered a wallet, please don't feel obligated to cancel your order or anything- trust me, I want to see y'all enjoy the cute wallets- especially after all of this mess that has happened.
Anyway, that's the update for now.

Also, don't worry, I will be making a post/reel/tiktok exposing the company since they took my money and ran basically. Just want to wait for the final word about my refund. That manufacturer has not only cost me $13,000, but has halted my shop completely. I cannot reorder pins, make new designs, continue the pin club, or anything else because of this fiasco. They've completely destroyed me for the moment.
But I'll recover. I just hope y'all will stick around throughout my recovery.

Progress Update

Hi everyone~
Okay so a lot of y'all have wanted an update, so here it is.
As usual, this whole process of figuring everything out is taking much longer than I initially thought.
So here's the plan...
I am going to move forward with ordering wallet samples from my purse manufacturer. How those samples come out will determine what I'm going to do moving forward.
I'm still waiting for my bank to respond to my dispute, but the bad news about the new wallets is they will cost triple what the old wallets cost. So I'm not completely sure how many I'm going to be able to order- I may have to work with the black wallets I currently have. It's really all up in the air at the moment.
The pink wallets should be remade either way. Fingers crossed my purse company can make samples I'm happy with...
So here are some of the issues with the current wallets, since y'all wanted to know more specifics.
Firstly, they used water based ink. Yup, you read that right. That means the wallets can't be wiped down because the printing will literally WIPE OFF! 😩
The samples I ordered from the wallet manu definitely weren't like that, so I think they cut major corners during mass production.
A majority of the pink wallets have little spots of ink all over them, and the best part is you can't even wipe them off when they're on the printed design...because you'll wipe off the whole design. 🙃
Secondly, the pink wallets have a huge misprint. All of them. They're missing the outline around the rainbow on the flap with the magnetic closure. The wallet manufacturer admitted they messed up, but said it wasn't a big deal because the color of the outline is so close to the wallet color. But I personally don't buy it. To me it's obvious because every other rainbow is outlined. A lot of y'all may not have noticed it, but it's still a flaw. The manufacturer wanted me to give you these wallets without mentioning it to see if you would notice. I'm just not about doing that to y'all.
Lastly, the card slots. Soooo many of the card slots look like they were cut with a dull butter knife. Like they're so bad. That can be fixed to a certain extent, but still it's a ton of extra time and work for me.
The black wallets may be easier to fix in the sense that they a) don't have the misprint issue, and b) don't have as many ink blotches. They still have the water based ink and card slot issue, but those may be fixable. I'm still looking into those issues. If I decide to fix them, I want to do it right.
Obviously, my first choice is to reorder the entire batch through my purse manufacturer. But I honestly don't know how feasible that will be because of how much it's going to cost. Even with the refund for the old wallets, I'll still owe about $10,000 for the new wallets.
So I'm sure y'all can see how stressful this is. I didn't update sooner because I'm kind of playing everything by ear at this point. I truly don't know what I'm going to do yet.
But, I figure the best place to start is by ordering the wallet samples from my purse manufacturer.
So that's the thought process so far.
In the meantime, yes, I'm still making my way through the lists of orders that didn't include a wallet. I'm shipping out another 40 orders this week. I appreciate your patience so much as I continue to ship orders out.
I've had a lot of stress in my personal life lately, also, so I'm working through some anxiety at the moment. I truly thank you for being so patient.
I know I told a bunch of y'all to let me know if you'd like your items shipped separately from the wallets after the next update, but actually, if you could wait until the update where I specifically ask for those folks who want that option, I would super appreciate it. ❤️
I'm gonna make that list after the wallet samples are made so I don't miss anyone or forget something. My brain is so scattered, I'm afraid that if y'all let me know now that you'd like that option that I will immediately forget as soon as I exit the email, lol.

The Long-Awaited Wallet Update...

Hi friends.
So I have some not great news to share today.
In fact, I've been dreading this update.
So I've been very quiet on social media and on here because for the last month, I've been dealing with what is now my ex wallet manufacturer.
Basically, the pink wallets started to arrive the end of December, and I was so excited to finally get them that I immediately opened them and....they have issues (and I would discover more issues throughout the month...).
I was so crushed. It triggered massive panic attacks and I ran to the manufacturer to help fix these and they said No ❤️. They refused to make new ones or fix these or refund me.
So I've kind of been spiraling behind the scenes, I'm not going to lie. Even yesterday I had big crying fits as I realized the mess this became and knew I would let you down again.
I'm just being transparent with y'all and why I've been MIA- it's been really hard.
I am currently still trying to battle with the manufacturer, and trying to figure out what exactly this all means for the wallets. There are some issues that can be solved with simple DIY, but some of the issues may not be fixable. I'm reaching out to many folks to see if they can be fixed somehow. I will let y'all know more as this progresses.
Basically, right now the orders with the wallets will be shipped last.
I also want to be transparent with where I'm at now with my potential worst case scenario.
I reached back out to my purse manufacturer to see if they had any advice, and it turns out that they now can make wallets!
So the worst case scenario is: I scrap the current wallets and order new ones from the purse manufacturer.
It's a huge bummer to even think about that as a possibility because that would mean y'all would have to wait even longer. Plus, it's super unaffordable for me right now. But if it's what must be done, I will figure it out financially. I want to make sure I make the best decision for y'all. I don't want to give you flawed products for the sake of my own convenience.
If that worst case scenario is what happens, I also have ideas of what to do in the meantime. If you had other items in your order, I would be willing to ship those first so you could at least have those. That would require y'all to pay shipping again, so if you'd rather wait and have everything shipped together, I can do that too.
Please note that I cannot issue refunds at this point and I'm so sorry about that. But I will deliver the goods you paid for no matter what.
Remember, this is hypothetical as the worst case scenario. The current wallets may be fixable, so I don't want to get ahead of myself too much, but I want y'all to know my thought process and explain the struggle that's been going on.
Either way, the wallets will be shipping last and may take a while to ship.
I'm so sorry friends.
I truly wish I had better news.
I had no idea that something like this was going to happen. It's the reason I ordered samples. The manufacturer had no explanation or solutions.
It's been such a fight that it's really made me reconsider this job. I've been in a really bad place and it's just been hard. I know y'all have been waiting and waiting for so long, too.
So many of y'all have sent kind messages and have worried about me and it's helped more than you know. I just have had a lot of guilt over the fumbles that have happened during this project, and the issues with the wallets was the breaking point for me.
I'm sorry.
The good-ish news is that I'm still working on sending out orders without wallets and am getting through them pretty quickly. I sent out over 100 in the last couple of weeks alone. My post office hates me lol.
Anyway, I hate to be such a bummer and the bringer of bad news, but it seems like that's my whole job lately - relaying bad news I get.
Fingers crossed I can figure out how to fix some of the issues with the wallets and get back on track.
I will let y'all know as soon as I have a definitive answer and know what direction to run in.
Thank you so so so much for being so kind and patient. If I was getting yelled at regularly on here also, I think I would pack up my stuff and log off forever lol. But y'all being so forgiving and patient keeps me going and makes me more motivated to take on these rough patches.
