Hi everyone!
I am once again asking for your forgiveness for not updating sooner. 😓
Truth is the loan process took WAY longer than I thought, but we're pushing through.
It has all worked out, and literally any day now I will receive the funding for the wallets.
My manufacturer is still on standby waiting, so I'm literally just waiting on the funds to appear.
The slightly bad news (for me) is that the loan terms were harsher than I was expecting.
So for the last month I've put all of my effort into working on the witch hats that I sell this time of year.
I worked really, really hard on the hats so I can have funding to fall back on for the loan. Plus I wasn't sure if I was even going to get the full amount at one point (I did though, whew!) so I tried really hard to get as many hats done as possible.
That's why I've been a bit MIA lately.
I didn't focus on the witch hats and ignore y'all, I promise- it was to help this Kickstarter move forward.
So that's where we are at.
I'm just waiting for the funding to appear, then I will place the bulk order ASAP.
I'll update again as soon as I do that. Hopefully next week at the latest.
If you've sent me an email and didn't get a response, please send me another email or message on here and I will keep an eye out.
A lot of the times emails from y'all end up in my junk folder, but I've also been so busy that I wouldn't be surprised if I just missed it.

Ups & Downs

Hey friends!
So I know y'all have been wanting an update, sorry it's taken me so long!
Truth is manufacturing is taking a while overseas still, so the second samples took a little bit.
Good news is they arrived and look so good!!
The colors are almost spot on, and probably as close as they can get, but I'm still gonna try and see if there can be a few very small adjustments just because I'm a perfectionist.
But those adjustments can be made right before mass production, so it won't require a whole new sample.
That means we're ready to place the bulk order!
Well, almost...
I just have to secure a loan, which is already being worked on, it just needs to be finalized.
So I'm looking to place the bulk order FINALLY in early September.
I don't know the exact time frame for the production and shipping yet, so I'll let you know more of that once the production begins.
I definitely don't want to rush the process and end up with another bad batch, but I'll definitely keep y'all updated about the timeline as we go.
Okay, so I think some folks were confused, so let me help clear up any confusion~
The wallet photos from customers that I've been sharing on instagram are photos of the damaged wallets.
I have those listed on my website at cost to help get some funds for the remake.
Speaking of which, my last wallet manufacturer is still giving me a hard time.
You know how I was fighting to dispute the wallet charges with my bank?
Well it worked! I didn't get a full refund (sigh), but I did get a chunk of money back a while ago which helped me keep the storage facility, which I only have because of having to hold onto orders because of the wallet issue.
So that money was a wash, basically. It wasn't enough to put toward the next order, hence the loan, but hey, it helped.
Okay, so today I got an email that the last wallet manu is filing a complaint saying that I never paid them.
I don't know what that means either, y'all!
My bank is the one who ultimately decided to refund some of my money, and is now trying to collect and back charge the wallet manu.
I don't know if I should be worried?? It definitely has spiked my anxiety during a high anxiety time for me, but I don't know if I should worry about it because technically they should be arguing with my bank??
If anyone knows anything about this, please let me know.
I didn't even get a full refund and this company is STILL harassing me. 😩
So we've got good news and some not great news, but all in all things are still moving along.
I'll post another update once I get the loan secured and place the bulk order!
Hopefully it'll only be a couple of weeks until then!

Update: Samples Are Finally Here!

Hey friends!
The new wallet samples have arrived (finally after 3 weeks in transit) and they are sooo much nicer than the other ones.
There are still some kinks to work out, so I'm gonna have to order more samples, but they're minor, so I'm not worried about them. The kinks include making sure the colors match, making the heart cut out for licenses a little bigger, and shifting some printing down to make it look exactly as I imagined.
So, yes, there will be an additional little wait for another sample, but these processes take time and I'd rather address these issues now than run into them along the way and delay the bulk production.
Okay, so y'all want pictures? Again, please ignore any color discrepancies and such- we're working on it.

Reminder- all of that dirt and dust can't even be wiped off because of the water soluble ink.
Trust me, y'all would've been infuriated to receive these.

The new ones just feel so much nicer to hold and the card holders look professionally done.
I hope this feels like a light at the end of a tunnel for y'all. I know y'all have been waiting so long, and I truly can't express how sorry I am for that. I hope it will feel worth the wait. I know I anxiety cried when I opened up the box of the last wallets because it instantly felt like I had failed and there was no fixing it.
I was so worried that y'all would be so disappointed in me and would avoid any future projects I do because I let something this devastating happen.
I hope y'all know that letting y'all down was my biggest fear because I truly appreciate every single one of you spending hard earned money on my little art business.
Now comes the next scariest part for me: putting myself in debt to bulk order these, lol.
But it will be okay! I have extra stock of the items to sell to make up for that, and it's worth it to deliver products to y'all that are the quality I promised!
I was thinking of putting the flawed wallets up for sale in case anyone wanted to diy fix them or make something else out of them or something? It just feels like a waste to hold onto them or throw them away. Would y'all be interested in that? I would only charge $5 which is what I paid for them. Not looking to make any profit from them as they are damaged.
Also, I was going to include the flawed phone grips in the sale. Remember how I ordered the phone grips and they sent me a whole batch of black ones with white backs? Then begged me to pay for the remake and I had to? 😩
Well I would sell them for half cost of the standard black ones - $2.50. Again, just to make up for paying for them twice. Would y'all be interested in that?
Okay, that's everything for now I think.
I don't have a timeline for the wallets yet, but as soon as I know even an approximate timeline, I'll let y'all know! If you want your other items shipped first, comment on my last post. I will start making my way through that list in the next couple of weeks!

The manu sent pics and I can tell you already that the quality looks much better. Fingers crossed they live up to the pics in reality.
Okay, so this is the update where I ask y'all who want their items shipped first without the wallet to comment.
Please comment "me" on this post so I can keep track and refer back to one place where everyone is instead of trying to keep track of emails. Especially because gmail loves to send KS emails to my junk folder.
Even if we spoke via email about wanting your items shipped sooner, please still comment here so I can keep track, as it's easy to forget who I spoke to about what when dealing with so many things at once. Y'all get it~
Please keep in mind that this does not mean I'm going to ship your order immediately. I will start shipping once I receive the wallet samples and approve them with my manufacturer. Also, I'm going to ship as many orders out as possible, but please know that it's typically 40-60 orders a week, depending, so please be patient with me.
Also, if you've already requested for your wallet to be replaced and are waiting on your order to ship, it's shipping this week! I'm sorry for the delays, I couldn't make it to the storage unit last week which caused my expected shipping dates to be pushed a week. But they will be shipped in the next couple of days!!

Hi friends!
I don't have much to update with today, but folks have been asking for one, so here it is~
The wallet samples are still being made. They take a while, plus everything takes longer due to the pandemic still going on. So please be patient as we wait for them to be finished. ❤️
Good news for Australians- the shipping restrictions have been lifted, so all orders without a wallet have shipped!
Unfortunately, New Zealand still has restrictions, so I can't ship those yet. :(
Okay, so the next update will probably come once the wallet samples are done. That is when I will ask for folks who want their items shipped separately to let me know. I will only start shipping separated orders once the wallet samples are done and approved. I don't want to get ahead of myself by shipping orders separated without knowing the wallets are fixed. Hope y'all understand that. ❤️
If you'd like your wallet replaced with other items, including stuff from my regular shop, please email me with your email or name on the order, and which items you'd like to replace the wallet(s). The wallets are $30 each. I'll take care of it from there~
